We need 250 votes on the Mission: Small Business page to get closer to qualifying for a $250,000 Grant. This grant is just what our bookstore needs to survive this tough economy and remain a fixture in Belmont Shore!

Here are some of the innovative, creative things we hope to do with this grant:
- Give all our wonderful employees a long-overdue raise!
- Hire extra staff! We would love to bring in an Events Coordinator, an Office Assistant, and two or three more Sales Associates.
- Be more involved in our community!We will be able to take on more fundraisers for schools, libraries and other organizations.
- Host more special events at our store! We could add weekly story time, additional book clubs, bigger author events, and much, much more!
- Increase and diversify our inventory! Some of our book sections need expanding, and we could add magazines and periodicals to our stock.
And . . . this is just the beginning!
